Symposium Sponsorship Information
Symposium Sponsorship
The TRB Committee on Aviation System Planning invites industry firms and organizations with an interest in aviation system planning to support the National Aviation System Planning Symposium by providing modest levels of financial sponsorship or in-kind assistance. Such co-sponsorship of the symposium helps keep registration fees affordable and in turn allows a greater level of participation, as well as providing an opportunity for the sponsors to demonstrate their commitment to improving the state of knowledge and practice of aviation system planning. Depending on the level of sponsorship that the committee is able to obtain, one of the goals for the symposium is to provide some financial assistance to help a few students interested in airport and aviation planning attend the symposium.
Sponsors should feel free to set their level of sponsorship to whatever they feel appropriate to contribute, but the Symposium Planning Committee is hoping that smaller organizations might consider contributing $500, while larger organizations might consider contributing $1,000 or $2,000.
Sponsors will be recognized at the symposium itself through display placards and announcements at the opening and closing sessions, on the symposium website, and in the symposium proceedings.
In-Kind Sponsors
Industry organizations that are not able to make direct financial contributions can assist in co-sponsoring the symposium by distributing information about the symposium to their membership or by other in-kind services. This important role will also be acknowledged in the same way.
